Hi Tinoman!<br><br>Yes! I finally made it home. <br><br>I am sorry I have not posted but I have had some major computer problems and have not been able to post. Thank you Tino and everyone else for the advice and suggestions. <br><br>Although I said I was planning on leaving at 5 am Thursday morning-I ended up leaving NY that night at 11:30 pm. My friend's apartment complex had a gas leak and with all of the hullabaloo with the Fire Department and police mulling about-I got this great idea. Since AAA & the local news were having difficulty keeping up with what bridges were open/closed, who else except the police & fire department would know what roads were open...<br><br>I went to the police station after the excitement died down and was advised that the GWB was just opening, had only one lane, would not be open very long and that cars were being searched before passage. Needless to say, I packed in 15 minutes and got out of there!!!<br><br>Totally unprepared! No Dinner, tired, no road map, but that is okay-I got home! <br><br>There were tons of semi's on the road, trying to make up for lost time I guess. Hopefully many will be going to the NY/NJ area to help by bringing much needed supplies/food.<br><br>Thank you all once again. I appreciate it.<br><br>Lily11224
