The last few days here have been warm and I am in
need of a sun visor or shield in the front window. The
visor from my previous vehicle (car)does not fit. Has
anyone purchased one for the tribute? Will the standard
truck visor found in most auto parts stores fit the
tribute? I apologize to those of you still fighting the
snow. I don't recall Madza selling one as an accessory
for the tribute.

BTW, I will drop my trib off
to be checked for the fuel smell fix. My dealer will
not order the parts until they check out the vehicle.
Even though I had it in for the same thing at the end
of January. Nothing I can do but drop it off and
pick it up later that day while the parts are ordered.
At least I won't be the first vehicle they have
tried to replace the gaskets. They told me they have
another trib in for the work now.
There are a zillion different brands and styles
of these, and I'm not sure that Standard, Large,
Jumbo, etc., are the same across them. I've noticed that
most of the shades indicate their dimensions on the
package -- I think the best thing would be to measure the
size of the windshield and chosse the best fit from
the selection available at your store.
My dealer stocked the HeatShield brand that is
made exactly the right shape for each different model.
I have used this brand for several years on other
cars and have been very happy. You can contact them at
1-800-777-6405. Fairly expensive (about $25) but considering
custom made is worth it to me.
I'd like to get something close to a custom fit
because the summers are very hot here. I am not able to
park the trib in the shade while at work and I want to
keep it a cool as possible inside the truck.

I'll measure the window and see if I can find a good
fit before purchasing a custom made visor.
I'll
call and see if heatshield has a tribute visor in
stock.
Thanks
Biggolfer -

I don't remember which dealer
you were using, but Great Valley fixed my fuel smell
1.5 weeks ago and my trib is odor free still. Hooray!
They were the ones that claimed to have a fuel
detector so they knew no more fumes were leaking... Don't
remember the tech's name though.
