Signal Mirrors!

I just got my Tribute. I know that they make Siganl Mirrors for the the Escape, does anyone know if they have them for the Tribute as well?

They should work the same. I was told by someone on the Escape club (bochman2002 I think) that you can either get a stick-on signalling piece that goes ontop of the glass mirror, which wasn't recommended by that member, or have the entire glass mirror insert (not the housing) replaced.<br><br>Basically, you keep the existing plastic housing and all you replace is the glass insert. The wiring was described as easy. I was thinking of getting this, but then I decided against it because the Tributes have side marker lights already which allows drivers on your side to see your intent to make a turn.

I want the glass insert as I feel it will attract more attention to my vechicle. <br>The side marker light is ok, it's just lower and I know myself I don't notice them until I am right up next to the vehicle. I do notice without looking for it, those signal mirrors lights.<br>Plus these sidemarkers are bulbs and will burn out, aren't the signal mirrors lights LED?
