Since Mazdastuff.com is offering free shipping until the end of the year, I'm considering ordering the side step tubes. I just want to make sure I won't have any serious difficulties installing them myself. Is it a relatively easy job?

I had the same thought, but wondered if anyone had comparisons between the Mazda step bars and any of the other after-market ones out there - why did folks pick what they did?

I was driving around town the other day and saw a Trib with step bars and got a touch of accessory envy. :D

TIA, Jen

I just ordered the side step tubes, the rear mud flaps and the hood deflector. I'll let you know wether I have any problems installing them. Hey, Sunday is my birthday, so this is an early present <grin>.

I should probably consider the rear mud flaps as well, so I'll be interested in hearing how you do. Do you think I can assume that a Desert Metallic LX would call for the mudflaps that Mazdastuff.com calls "Sandalwood Metallic"?
