okay 1997 3.0 2wd 140k one owner car. After a 300 mile road trip I went to breakfast the next morning and on the highway ride home she went gutless, 2-3rpms max. All she had. Pulled over and it all just cut off. CEL *was* flashing when I initially lost power. Well I was thinking fuel pump/relay. Turns out the pump was bad (getting power but not whirring or anything). Replaced the pump and filter, now she purrs! But still won't start! Tried the at home spark test on 2 right bank wires, noooo arc whatsoever. Do I have an ignition coil?? Haynes says I does but this Haynes also says I have a 2 piece intake with seperable intake runners ( I definitely do NOT) It's been several years and maybe 40k since I've done plugs wires rotor cap but they all look to be in good condition. I'm broke and only have hand tools and don't want to throw parts at her. I think I might need a distributor or ignition coil (that I can't find) or a tune up. Hell, maybe all 3! I hope not.....PLEASE HELP GUYS!!!!
