Report re:Acceleration Problems

I gave my Tribute to the dealer on friday regarding the acceleration problem I had posted earlier. Friday they came back to me saying they inspected it initially and think its the computer. They would need to look at it closer on Monday.<br><br>Tuesday morning they get back to me saying its the transmission and that they will have to replace it all together. I didn't have time to get into specifics. They said it would be ready by end of the week depending on how long the transmission took to be delivered.<br><br>Hope this is not a sign of things to come. I will post the exact problem when I pick up the vehicle.

What were your symptoms again??<br><br>I'm interested because my ES transmission (I think), makes a warbling noise at the 1-2 shift, and less at the 2-3 shift points, when accelerating thru 3K RPMS.<br><br>The noise is louder when turning to the right and seems to come from the center/right of the vehicle.
