Removing Badges/Logos . . . Wise?

Does removing the badges/logos lower resale value? What happens when you want to sell the thing in X number of years? I sort of like the idea of making the vehicle look "clean" by getting the "free advertising" it hauls around, but . . . I wonder how wise it is. I would hate to do this and then years down the road (pun intended) say, "Darn! Wish I wouldn't have done that!"<br><br>Any wisdom from the Tribute collective?<br><br>David

Simple solution: After removing your badging, keep it in a safe place until you decide to sell the vehicle. You can easily reapply them with some 3M double-sided adhesive tape. You can find this stuff in most autoparts stores and its the same stuff that body shops use to reapply badges.

Just take 'em off, save them and stick them back on years from now. Glue or two sided 3m tape should work.<br><br><br>bob
