Received my JCrew $50 gift certificate in the
mail....and still zooming without smells!! But then I live in the north east where it has been very cold since I've had the car....so maybe the smell problem is holding off until spring?? I have put 2400 great miles on it and still loving every minute...hard to find a warm day to wash it up so it sparkles! zoom zoom zoom zoom......

I didn't get the camera or the battery...I sent in my signed certificate the end of October, so yours can't be far away...hey I might have been given priority because we are a Mazda family...Miata and a Tribute.....from a family of sports cars...I might even want to get the RX-7 when it gets reintroduced! I've also had an MX-6 in the past...zoom, zoom.......

No...I think they just forgot us...we've got the camera for being long time Mazda owners....12 in all over the years...goes back to my high school days. I first wanted the original RX-7 BAD BAD BAD. The Mazda family will most likely send you a camera....they wanted me to take pictures for Mazda Town article. I figure I should wait till my Tribute goes Zooooooming on vacation the 27th to visit the Pocono's and break out of its native (by proxy) Florida home!!!

I know a secret.....that is....on the RX-7. I have a friend from my new car manager years that is with Mazda Corp. The next generation RX-7 will be back to the NON TURBO stuff RX-7's became famous for! The problem he told me was RX-7 since its beginning has had a 700%price increase! Mazda decided to let the beginning pent up demand for IMPORT sports cars to come back. Notice....the 300Z's, Supra's, etc. are gone....By R+D they believe the 2 door coupe will be coming back BY 2002. Look first for the RX-Evolve w/suicide doors...4 door.
By the way....any Mazda used to be very easy to identify...any 3 digit series was a car, MX series was sporty 2 door...and RX was rotory sports car. I miss the simplicity...but even the 626 will be given a "name" by 2002!

bob

Doesn't sound like you ever had a Miata....try one...especially where you live, the top could be down 12 months out of the year! These cars are the epitomy of pleasurable driving...and far less expense than any other 2 seater convertible! Less to buy and alot less to maintain.

Wish we could....I'd need a trailer for my son and 2 basset hounds!! Currently our "other" Mazda is a perfect red B2600i 4x4 cab+ with a red topper....

Believe me...I've had my share of driving them...I love 'em..

bob
