Rear window squeak

Anyone else noticed a squeak in the rear window when hitting bumps or pulling into driveways (or going over speed bumps)? If so, has anyone fixed their problem?

YES! Its driving me nuts! But I haven't had the chance to take it in for service yet. My ES is sson due for its oil change and lube, I'll have them look at it then. <br><br>Anyone else had theirs repaired???

A couple of us have had this noise. I think it is actually coming from where the rear hatch striker catches. There are some old posts about where to buy the special wrench and fix it yourself. My dealer fixed it and it lasted 3 months and is back.<br><br>Not sure, but I think there were also posts that putting WD-40 fixed it for some.<br><br>Jen

I have the same issue, dealer advised that the fix revolves around changing the "latch" in the trunk. Havent had it done yet but probably will.

I used WD 40 on the rear hatch latch and (knock on wood) I haven't had that squeak in at least two months!
