The handling is closer to a sedan than a truck --
that's a plus unless you're doing some serious
off-roading which I doubt Tribute owners will be doing
anyway. With the slightly stiffer suspension tuning, the
ride gets somewhat rough (the meaty tires cushion most
of the bumps) but I personally like it. The Escape
has a more cushy suspension, based on my limited
experience, so you'd feel less of the bumps on the
road.

As far as seating comfort goes ... the front seats
are very comfy although I'd prefer them to be more of
buckets seats with an adjustable lumbar suppor. The rear
seats, on the other hand, are okay for short trips. My
friends rode in the back for about 2 hours and complained
-- I haven't tried being a backseat passenger on the
Tribute/Escape yet so this is based on what others have told
me.

As the other member suggested, it's best to test
drive the Tribute so you'll know firsthand how you like
it. (Obviously, I liked it -- very much.)
