Q: Miata ''00 winter handling & hard-top

I'm looking into buying a 2000 Miata. I live in Helsinki, Finland, and the Miata will be my only car. My main problems are related to handling in poor weather and cold air, as well as storage space.<br><br>1. I'm planning on getting the Torsen + ABS, but I've understood that this won't help much. My main gripe is slow speeds, in parking lots or parallel parking on a slope, where the tires simply can't slip or you'll slide into someone.<br><br>2. I also figured the hardtop would be good for winter driving, since studded tires make a bit more noise and the top would insulate heat a bit better. Any experiences? How good insulation packages are there for the car?<br><br>3. I'm a bit of an audiophile, and would like to have a good soundsystem. One aspect is a quiet ride (when the top is up -- be it rag or hard). Do the insulation items such as the trunk insulation etc. make a difference?<br><br>4. Finally -- I've never looked into the trunk. How small is it? Does it really fit "nothing"?<br><br>Thanks for your replies, I'd really appreciate any help I can get
