New To Forum, Need Stereo Help

New to the forums, I've got a 2004 Mazda 6 wagon Ltd. I've got a Bose system, I've had it for two years but have encountered a problem over the last 6 months. It started as an intermittant problem, but has now become a major issue. Whenever I play a CD the right side speakers don't produce any sound, only the left side speakers work. This only occurs when a CD is playing, when I have the radio on, all speakers work normally. Has anyone ever run into this problem before? I've searched the web, but can't find anything on my particular problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
