Hello I just got an 83 RX-7... It has a 12a with 180k on it. Anybody got any tips on making it have a little more power. I'm new to the RX-7,, What is the difference between the 13b and 12a?? Thanks :-)

Welcome to the wonderful world of rotary ownership. Your best choice for more power, is going to a free flow exhaust system, opinions vary on single or dual exhaust. Second would be a low restriction air cleaner. Third power tip would be an after market intake and carb. As to the difference between 12A and 13B, the 13B has a larger displacement, different intake and exhaust configuration, and more horse power. There is no part interchange between the two engines unfortunately. A word on clubs, join several, I am currently a member of 3 RX 7 clubs, and find that some are more active than others. Good luck with the RX
