I agree w/ tmgaz1025 -- just stay put for now as
your best bet is to take those bridges/tunnels. This
place needs to have transportation restored, and soon,
before more problems arise. As it is, we've been told
there might be a shortage of supplies (food, drinks,
etc.) if this continues. Businesses relying on freight
trucks and deliveries are heavily dependent on these
modes of transportation. In essence, these closings are
temporary and you'll be on your way home soon
enough.<br><br>Hang in there ... and while you're here, visit Long
Island -- the wineries, historic places, etc. -- if the
highways permit.
