I just took my DX V6 in to have a transmission leak fixed for the second time. THe first time they replaced a seal, this time Mazda decided to replace the entire transmission. I guess they are concerned it may have been improperly milled.

I'm a little conflicted. I guess I'm happy they are replacing it as I will have a brand new and hopefully problem free transmission. On the other hand I'm a little bothered that I need a new transmission on a 7 month old vehicle with 7800 miles on it.

Of course it is on backorder so who knows when I'll get it. Maybe I'll get a 2002 transmission?
