I am started to notice dry streak marks running down INSIDE the rear window(very very little streak marks) after it has rained. This is a problem because some out water is entering inside the car. I have also readed that some people have notice rust on their rear defroster inside Any one else has or know someone who has this problem
Charlie Long Island

I'm also on Long Island. Where did you purchase your Trib?
While I haven't noticed any water leaking in, I have noticed the wiring for the rear defroster along the back window turning a burnt/rust color. A few of us have posted about that, but so far I haven't heard any answers as to they why.

Interestingly I have the dicolored defroster and last year had a leak on the window. I hadn't put the two together. The leak was very infrequent and seemed not to have anything to do with opening the rear window or anything I could find. I told the dealer and they ordered a new rubber gasket for that window. I never had it put in b/c it came in and they never called. Got the "final notice" when I was out of town. Never had the leak again so I hadn'at worried about it.

Interesting...

We've had ours better than a year and it dribbles down the inside left of the rear window. Checked the screw and it was tight. Since I HATE to go the dealer, if it gets worse, I'll remove the screw and shoot a bit of clear silicone in there...

Marty

Mine also dribbles a bit down inside the left of the rear window. We've had so little rain that it has not been a serious problem (also, while at home the car sits under a carport). If/when we do get heavy rain it will be interesting to see how bad the leak is. The clear silicone might be a good approach.
