Last weekend I went to the Largest Mazda Dealer in Texas - second one this week. Beasley in Austin had lots of DX-V6 models and a few LX and ES. They will order s-plan and they know about the delays and parts shortages. I didn't see an invoice, but they said s-plan was 1.9% over invoice. Does that sound right, I was expecting a lower price.

Im considering a DX instead of waiting for an LX. Any comments on good prices right now?

Nope, S-plan is roughly $200 UNDER invoice and they specifically disallow any additional fees.
(i.e. no "document preperation" or administration" fees).

The dealer is REQUIRED to provide you with a copy of the vehicle's factory invoice. In the lower right-hand corner of the invoice, you will see the "A-plan" price, which is the "net invoice price" that Ford/Mazda employees pay. "S-plan" price is 4% above the "A-plan" price.

Also, you are still eligible to receive ANY retail incentives that are available at the time you purchase or lease. But that is unlikely at this time since the Tributes are in high demand.

If you have any questions call 1-877-XPLAN-00.
