Jerking And Stuttering

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 5 Joined: 31-July 11 Member No.: 6,716 Drives: 97 MPV 2wd Location: California	I have a 97 MPV 2wd with 163,000 miles. It has always been a great car but I am having an issue with what the car does after it is at temp. Its like the transmission disengages for half a second then reengages. I would suspect the trans but the computer is giving me a P0300 code (misfire). I have recently replaced the plugs, plug wires, timing belt, belt tensioner, and PCV valve. I suspect and ignition issue but I am not sure where to begin, any suggestions?

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 5 Joined: 31-July 11 Member No.: 6,716 Drives: 97 MPV 2wd Location: California	Could my real issue be caused by a bad torque converter, the engine sound like it runs ok but I'm not sure that it would do something so severe. Do i have to have transmission codes read seperate from engine codes, will transmission codes show up on a normal check engine scan?
