Installing Pollen Filter

Could someone please tell me where to find the postings regarding the installation of the pollen filter? I just got one, and I can't even figure out how to get the little plastic screw covers off so I can take the screws out! I tried prying one out, but I just ended up chewing up the plastic. If anyone knows the posting numbers, I would greatly appreciate it if you would post them! Thanks!

I don't know which post has the info. But you definately have to get those plastic screw covers off. I used a screw driver and did scratch 'em up a little so I know what you mean. Perhaps spraying a little silicon in there might help loosen them up. And then use a butter knife or blunt plastic knife to wedge them out. Be sure to cup your free hand over those caps as you snap them out because they have a tendancy to fly into difficult places to reach.<br>The rest is easy.

Those caps are the worst part! I used a straightened paper clip and my fingernails. Lifted with the nails, then slipped the paper clip in and worked it around. I ended up with minor scratches on 2 of them, but the rest were okay. Good luck.
