Finally got my rear spoiler installed on my Tribute. Will take some pics to post. I have to admit, I was a little surprised when I saw it. It really didn't look like what I thought it was going to look like. I guess it's just the angle of the pictures at which most of the Tribs with spoilers were taken. At first I thought maybe it was the wrong part, but I guess not. Oh well, it's already growing on me. My Trib will definitely stand apart from the others driving around now. Bought it from Trussville Mazda for $234. My local dealers were asking for $320-$430 <g>. Even with $20 shipping, still saved a lot. Ordered some wheel locks too for $20. Local dealer wanted $40. Can't believe the price differences between dealerships. Had the spoiler installed this morning in vienna, va for $72. The dealer in Gaithersburg,md closest to where I live wanted $175 for install! Now to go find myself some cool chrome side bars, and a brushed chrome dash kit. :)

Thanks for posting your pictures. You have the the same Platinum Trib as I do and the spoiler looks better than I thought it would. Now you have me thinkin'...

I am assuming that the price you paid at Trussville was for a painted spoiler right?

Also, would you say that you could have installed it yourself? If I can do it myself I just may buy one too.

BTW, were you the one looking to buy the power antenna from Japan?

Yes, the price from Trussville Mazda included the spoiler painted. Surprisingly, the quoted price on their website is $258.00, but when I ordered mine they quoted me $234.00. I guess they went down on their prices. Also when I ordered from Trussville, they did not have the part, so they had to order from Mazda, only took a couple extra days. When I received it, to me it looked as though it came painted directly from Mazda. It probably didn't, but sure looked that way, the way it was wrapped up and everything. You may be able to install it yourself. It only took the dealership an hour to install it. It comes with all the tools, and install instructions. Only part was that it looked as if you have to drill two holes in the top of the Tribute. I'd be too afraid to drill in my car and mess up, and too afraid to let my fiance do it either. At least when the dealership does it, you get the install warranty. It also came with some glue, so I guess they had to glue it on as well (no adhesive backing stuff).

I don't think I was ever looking to buy a power antenna from Japan, but I definitely like the idea of a power antenna. I did want to replace mine with a shorter black one. That'll have to wait until after I get my step bars and dash kit though.
