No Help From Mazda USA Options

Hey folks - I own a 99 Miata and after owning it a few months I noticed that there seems to be a heavy smell of exhaust in the car cabin. This is my third Miata so I know this smell is not normal. Plus, people can smell exhaust on me after I've been in my car. I contacted the dealership where I purchased the vehichle and they told me they did not smell anything. I contacted Mazda USA about this problem & they said there was nothing they could do about it. People still tell me they smell exhaust in the car and can still smell it on me. Not sure if I have any options but I figured this would be a great place to find out. Thanks in advance. P. S. Does anyone know someone at Mazda USA that cares?

geoff... hey why not go to your local FD and ask them to take a co2 reading in the car.... if it is about the fedral allowed standards Mazda will have to do something...wont they??? geoffdarnell

Never thought to visit the FD for a co2 test. I'll start looking in to it. Thanks.
