Imports at Carlisle - May 18th

Throw a coat of wax on the car. Go get some touch-up paint. Get a rush delivery on the cool new aftermarket parts you've been wanting. The Chesapeake Area Roadsters ( http://blueroadster.phpwebhosting.com ) and the PACE Miata club ( http://www.miata.pace.net ) are planning a trip to the Import show at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in beautiful and scenic Carlisle, PA on Saturday, May 18th. This show is different than it has been in previous years when it was teamed up with the tuner cars (Honda, Acuras, Toyotas, etc.), and it is coming full circle into a very nice show complete with everything from original Minis, Triumphs, and MGs all the way to Austin Healeys, Jaguars, and even the occasional vintage Ferrari. And of course, Miatas. The PACE Miata club (Central PA) already has a large contingent attending, and they have graciously invited CAR to join them. So we've decided to take them up on their offer. We'll be meeting them in Harrisburg around 8:00am for a scenic drive, and a grand entrance to the show. Unfortunately, that means the CAR group will be leaving the Baltimore area around 6:00am, so bring some coffee. If you'd like to join us, you're more than welcome. Take the exit for Timonium Road EAST (it's the first outside the beltway) Go through the first light, cross over some railroad tracks, hit 2nd gear, and you'll see Chi-Chi's (and a bunch of Miatas) on your right.
