Hi Guys!

Hi guys. I am new in this club, but I am in four others, so it's great. Anyway, since I am now in this club too, I might as well tell you about my car.<br><br>1986 -non-turbo (149 HP). Has 253,000!! miles on it, but the engine was rebuilt at 200,000. All stock (though looking for upgrades).I am having one problem though......<br><br>At 3800 RPM , the car stutters (big time, not the usual horse-power-sick-for-a-sec thing that all '86's have). I have to play with the gas to get it to go by 3800-4000, but then it is fine until 6000. Then it does the same thing. I can't figure this out--maybe you guys can help me out.<br>Thanx. <br><br>Mike

hi.<br><br>i have an 81 series II with an 87 13b turbo, and i might know what the prob is. i used 2 have that prob but i found a lean spot in the fuel map, and richened it. <br><br>since mine is a turbo, this bit doesnt relate to you, but when mine wasn't getting enough fuel under boost (at a particular point)it did the same thing.<br><br>lastly, i've never played with this, but are the secondry injectors opening up at the correct time, and are they giving enough fuel?<br><br>hope it helps,<br><br>dave.
