I have an ES with side airbags, which means I
have leather seats too. It was built in 12/00. I have
the holes for the headrests to slide into. Since
Gloobia's was built about the same time as mine, I am
assuming that in December they stopped putting them
on.<br><br>IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR VEHICLES WITH SIDE AIRBAGS!!<br><br>My
owner's manual clearly states on page 86 in the last
sentence: "To prevent damage to the side air bag wiring,
don't place luggage or other objects under the front
seats."<br><br>I found this amusing since just a few pages earlier
they said to store the headrests there.<br><br>I guess
this means that they probably shouldn't have
eliminated the holes because where else are the people going
to store the headrests. <br><br>Maybe the people who
have side airbags get the holes and other people
don't. That was just a thought that I had while typing
this. Maybe someone who has side airbags and no holes
can disprove this theory. Otherwise, they just cut
some more corners to save money.
