I just bought an '02 silver Miata. I am trying to decide if I should go for a hard top. It stays in the garage most of the time, and I note from the last message I probably won't want to use it much in the wet/snowy winter. I'm here in Maryland, so that's not a great consideration. Any thoughts?

I bought a hard top for our '99 Miata on Ebay 3 years ago. I don't usually drive it in bad weather but unfortunately I'm not able to garage it in the winter. We live in Missouri and don't get a lot of snow and ice, but really don't want a lot of accumulation on the soft top when there is. I think it was a good investment, also changes the look of the car, white with black convertible top and harp top is white. Makes me feel like I'm driving a new car! William Harrison
