Anyone have any positive/negative feedback and 2WD Tributes versus the 4X4s? How does it handle the snow, etc.?

I have a DX V6 FWD Tribby (I think the only
one in the greater Hartford CT area)and in both
of the recent snow/rain/ice storms we have had the
vehicle has handled them superbly. The only thing
I have noticed is with the V6 power and just FWD,
it's very easy to spin the tires! If you take off
in second gear, I think it would climb up about any hill.I don't have ABS either, and have had to
make a couple of panic stops. NO PROBLEM! the Tribby dosen't try to swap ends or do anything
strange.1100 miles and very happy!
Garry in CT

Gary, glad to hear that...we have a trip to the Pocono's coming up soon...I have 2WD LX w/abs...WAS WONDERING about the 2wd in snow...expecially on hills. My 626 used to go anywhere...Until your post I actually contemplated taking my big ole' B2600i 4x4 cab+ Mazda truck....full compliment 4wd, low range etc. I feel much more confident now...

bob
