Front Mudflaps

Has anyone installed front mudflaps on their Tribs? I don't understand why Mazda doesn't make the front flaps. I have the side step bars on our Trib and with the recent thaw on my dirt road, the bars have collected an inch of mud right under the front doors. I would like to put front flaps on but have no idea where to find some to match the Mazda rear flaps.

I have them on order to see if they'll work.

TOC - Keep us informed if they work or not. I was looking at some aftermarket Escape flaps and they just didn't look like they had the same curve at the bottom as the Trib and I know the bottom cladding on the Escape is different (hopefully shaped the same).

The Escape mudflaps came in, so I went to see if they could be made to work on a Tribute. The answer is....no, not really. They just have a different curve to them, like Bobelak was saying. I think they could be machined to fit quite nicely, but that's beyond my skill-set.

Dumb question...has anyone checked to see if the rear mud flaps will work on the front???
