Autolock

There's been several posts on the Escape club regarding autolocks. Does anyone's Trib have this feature?

Mine doesn't -- I haven't seen one that does though. I'm surprised the Escape owners mention this, but perhaps it's one of those other features that differentiate the 2 vehicles, certainly not one that I read about.<br><br>If you have an aftermarket security system installed, however, check w/ the manual or your installer to see if you can enable this feature, if applicable. The particular one I purchased enables passively locking all doors a few seconds after the ignition is switched to the "ON" position, but no sooner. 'Not an annoyance, in my opinion, as I always lock the doors for safety reasons, though others may view this differently as some of the Escape owners have posted.<br><br>*shrug*

i'm surprised that the trib does not have auto door locks. I thought all cars with electric door lock buttons had them now-a-days.<br><br>my intrigue locks when you take it out of park & unlocks when you put it into park.<br>the liberty locks when you reach 15mph and your foot is on the accelerator pedal. there is no automatic unlock feature though.
