Just wanna check....I was told the Tribute here
in Asia are built in Japan, that's why we have diff
features. Here in HK only offers 2 trims, 2.0 litre and the
V6. Mine is the V6 with ABS, side airbag, 4WD, power
antenna, ignition slot is lit, cargo area is lit, diff
leather seats, centre console, etc. Only the only problem
I had so far was the headlight melted blobs
problem. *plink plink*
what was the reason and solution to the headlight
melted blobs? I just noticed that I now have the same
problem in my right headlight after coming home from me
trip to Memphis, TN. I'm going to call my dealership
today. So far, this has been myu first *real* problem.
Hope this is not a sign of more to come.
Hey,<br>The reason was due to the overheating of
the bulb itself. Mazda changed the bulb for me. They
said they have used a newer version of the bulb which
won't heat up that easily and without jeopardizing the
light intensity at all. It's been fixed for almost a
month and so far so good. Hope this helps.<br><br>Phil
"..ignition slot is lit..."<br><br>You mean your
ignition keyhole actually has a light like most
vehicles???<br><br>If this is so, I'm very interested in finding out
how to get that item somehow installed on the N.
American model of the Tribute. Any info you can provide
will be greatly appreciated. :)
hi,<br><br>yeah, it's lit. The keyhole has a ring
around it where it lights up. I just don't know how to
get it installed cause it comes with the car. It's
just a standard feature here. So is it true the
tributes here are assembled in Japan?<br>Sorry, can't be
of much help.
