Alternator Replacement

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Joined: 25-March 11 Member No.: 6,464 Drives: 2002 Mazda Tribute 3.0 Location: USA	My wife has a 2002 tribute and Yes, the alternator is a very costly repair. They do have to lower the axle to replace it. I also had them replace all the belts while thay were doing it, it was only a litte more money, and with over 90,000 miles on them they needed it. cost us around 800+ bucks at the dealer.
