Hi, This is my first post to the club. I have a Black LX without abs or luxury package. I have had it about a month and have just reached 1000 miles. I have some of the same problems like others in the club-Slight fuel odor, 17mpg so far

I'd like to start a discussion on the accessories that the current owners have purchased for their Tribute. I enjoyed the talk about the wood trim kit. Also, if anyone would like to share other things they have purchased or installed on the tribute. I attended the SEMA Auto show in Las Vegas last month and as soon as I get those pictures developed I will post them to the group. They had two tributes that they lowered with special paint jobs and trim kits. They were really nice.

License plate - I found a good rubber piece at my hardware store to place between the license plate and paint in the rear but I need to go purchase longer screws to tighten the plate.

Gas cap - I have not found a good way to keep the cap from dangling against the car. I may give the velco idea another look.

I have not purchase any of the accessories through Mazda but I have been looking to get the mud guards.

Thinking ahead for Summer

Sunshade for front window. Has anyone seen a shade made for the tribute. Or any suggestions for a aftermarket shade that works well.

Dash cover - Has anyone considered purchasing one for the tribute? I have never had one for any car I have owned but I am considering it because we have many 108 degree days during the summer. I don't like how they look but I want to protect the dash more than the "armor-all like" protectants.

Let hear from those people who are finding ways to make you vehicle more enjoyable.

I have an ES-V6, abs, moonroof, sideairbags and am now going on 2300 miles...no problems! I have a license plate frame which says "Zoom Zoom Zoom Zoom"...you pay once for the frame which is better than paying the state (NY) every two years! I also ordered headlight/foglight savers which is a plastic film cut to fit the lights. Since I received the headlight savers, the weather has been so cold, I have not been able to put them on since the lights have to be room temperature! I also ordered the all weather mats and rear mudflaps. Both were received just in time as winter has set in early in NY. The mats are great and will save your carpet. I am looking for more accessories and will continue to personalize my zoom zoom! The gas cap still flops around much to my dismay!

Go to this website and search for license plate frames: http://www.thepersonaltouch.com/search.phtml

You can put whatever you want so I could fit 4 zoom zoom's in there...it looks great!
