While the article is informative, as well as a
plug for AMSOIL's other products, it fails to convince
me.. It does not mention how long a typical engine
should last while using Ford's recommended oil -
assuming it does fail prematurely. If it fails within the
first 3 years, of course, that's Ford/Mazda's problem.
After 5 years, I'm not too concerned since most people
don't keep vehicles that long anyway. So if it fails in
the 3-5 year range, that'd be my only cause for
concern. Then it still could be Ford/Mazda's problem. If
they knowingly recommended a product that causes a
motor to fail, I think Ford will have more problems
than some bunk tires to deal with.<br><br>The article
also states:<br>"Therefore, 5W-20 has absolutely no
benefit to you, the customer, other than to make you have
to buy their expensive Motorcraft oil ..."<br>There
are other alternatives -
Pennzoil,Mobil..<br><br><br><br><br>That's what I think.
