2001 - V-6 engine replaced-

I purchased a 2001 V-6 last year. Has about 25 k on it. I noticed the oil light flickering at 250 rpm (or stopped while in drive) I took the Zoomer in and they said "oil sending" unit. After a week it was "oil pump". As most of you people should know "oil pumps" just don't do out!<br>The next week it was "we don't know". They are installing a new engine as I type. <br><br>Yes I did use Motorcraft oil and filters at 3,000 miles per change. We have been 21 days without over baby.<br><br>Yea, we still love the Zoomer! If you have a oil light that flickers at an idle - take it in now!<br><br>Thanks - Roger (the rotten)

Why are you 21 days without your car?

Unbeleivable- you've had your engine replaced and I've had my transmission replaced (about 15,000 miles)...wonder if the failure rate is higher than average on the Tribute/Escape. I suspect so. Other than reliablity, I really like the Tribute, though.
