1994 Protege Rpm Fluctuation At Idle

I have a 98 protege and i also had this happen to me. It actually stalled once then i changed the spark plugs and it hasn't stalled. I asked an employee at auto zone when i was getting the plugs and he said he had a civic that did the same thing, and as long as it didn't stall and again and the rpm's didn't go really high to not worry about it. idk how much your rpm's are fluctuating but to my knowledge it seems to just be normal. btw do you have a standard shift or automatic?

Check the intake duct for cracks mine was. I replaced it and it stopped. Also stay away from autozone for your own good along with platnum plugs. Get either iridium plugs or copper plugs with the right heat range.
