Ok, I need help, I have a 79 RX7 with a Porsche kit. Bad news is that it was recently wrecked, and i can't find the kit anywhere. I need the quarter panel passenger side fender flare, and front fender on the passenger side also. I have already found a door. I've talked to Mazda dealers and they dont know anything about it. I have pictures up in the picture section. The car is also for sale here on Yahoo classifieds. I will fix the car before selling. Any help on finding these parts would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Sweet car you got there. You can try searching the Mazda salvage yards. just type mazda parts into yahoo search. If those were fiberglass panels fixing them wouldn't be a big deal. I was surprized to see they are steel. and while any competent auto body shop could fix them, the cost would be steep. good luck with your search

well, i did find this kit after tons of searching. it is fiberglass... the company that makes this kit (Erebuni) doesn't sell seperate parts for this wide of a kit. I'm thinking about having an auto-body tech fit it. thanks!

I don't know Angel, after looking at the erebuni parts price, and considering the cost of installing them and repainting your whole car (red is a very hard color to match) I would get some estimates on repairing your current damage. especially since you plan to sell it anyway. I would suggest you get several estimates, and ask around about a reputable shop. I did auto body work for 14 years, so I can give you some advice on the subject. Don't necessilary go with the lowest estimate. if 3 shops tell you $1000, and one says $500..stay away..and check references. I have found over the years that anyone that can open a can of body filler thinks they are a bodyman. It aint that simple. I can cut a steak, that doesn't make me a surgeon. Sorry if I misled you before, I hadn't researched the cost of replacement panels. Best of luck, and let me know if you have other questions
