1,200 Mile Review

Well, I've had my ES-2WD Tribute for 6 days now, and I've put over 1,200 miles on it. My MPG have increased from 20.5 to 22.2. The ride is great. Wind noise is definitely there, but nothing to complain about. Also, the sound system drowns out the wind noise most of the time. :-) <br><br>I thought I had the warm re-start fuel smell, but now I don't know if I'm mistaking new car smell with gasoline. Or maybe it's just the fumes getting to me. :) <br><br>BRAKE DUST! OISH! I have DEFINITELY noticed the EXCESS of brake dust on the front wheels/rims. What quality are the pads they are putting on the Escape/Tribute? Must be a soft pad. <br><br>I'm feeling lonely, I've only seen one other Tribute on the raod since I bought mine.

I'm in Texas as well and have not seen one anywhere around Dallas. Where are you? I saw an Escape yesterday on the road and was staring at it like it was a long lost cousin. I think the guy probably though I was flirting with him. It wasn't very pretty - that awful canary yellow. Mine should be in "anytime" though. I can't wait. I hope I'll be able to get the same gas mileage as you are getting.
