02 626 Coolant Leak

I have an 02 Mazda 626 v6 automatic and recently had a coolant leak that sounded like (made gurgling noises) it was coming from the overflow tank. Reading up on this model in yrs 98-02 came to realize this was a common problem and most people with these cars have had to replace the tank multiple times. So I went ahead and had the $70 plastic tank replaced. No more gurgling noises but there is definitely still a coolant leak somewhere because it smells very strongly. I haven't noticed anything dripping to the ground but after I turn the car off can hear some kind of pinging noise that sounds like it is dripping onto something metal. Does anyone have any idea where this leak could be? Please help!
