OK...

So first, a correction, it WAS
5w-20...my bad.

BUT they still told me it would be
$50!!!

So I took the service guy's own advice, and called 4
different Mazda dealers in the area. They told me the oil
change would be between $23.95 - $36.00.

Called
my dealership back - spoke to the service manager.
He said he will give me "the best deal they
can"...around $30 bucks. Also, he did say that they would honor
any coupon that I received when I bought my car. So
that should bring the cost down as well.

Krikey
- I was one of the first to buy a 2001 Tribby from
this dealer. If they don't bring the price down, they
are going to lose a lot of service customers, as they
should. Hopefully this squeaky wheel got somewhere with
them.. (doubt it).

Thanks for the input...slight
headache, but hopefully it won't be an expensive one.
